Miracles

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." ---Albert Einstein

Today was a miracle. The more I realize that we are mortal beings, the more I can soak up from the moments, that don't always seem like much in and of themselves. I guess life is a collection of small, beautiful, simple moments. It is the slowing down enough to revel in them that is sometimes the hard part for me.
Take a look at these pictures....a miracle? You bet! The sun was strong, the water cold. Grace played in her little hole in the sandy beach, while I gave motor boat rides to CC around the lake. Fran and Will had a complicated island of Transformers game going. ...And as we were leaving, the lone other person on the beach today said, "You know, I never had children of my own, but if I had, I would like to think that they would be just like your kids. They're great!" A miracle? Can't get any closer than this.
