John and I were up early today with Grace, 6 months old. This seems to have become our time to connect. It's so quiet and peaceful in the house before the other sleepy bodies start to stir. I was thinking about our day together yesterday and smiling. So much activity and so much joy....Will's last words to me before he drifted off to sleep last night were: "Mommy, my family is the most important thing to me.....especially Gran!" John's mother is staying with us, and has been more frequently now as she slips into old age, and I'm so thankful that we have this time with her.....it means so much!
Really enjoying a sense of thanksgiving this morning! :)
